Content Learning Cell Welcome to St Patrick's, Mitchell
IDENTITY

St Patrick’s Primary School is a Christ centred school in the Catholic Tradition. Our school founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1925, fosters and encourages the values of compassion, justice, loyalty, inclusivity, respect and mercy. We celebrate God’s presence in our faith and learning community. We value and promote excellence in teaching and learning, supported by a strong partnership with staff, family and parish.

Vision

At St Patrick’s Primary School Mitchell, we try to live by the values demonstrated by Jesus in the gospel.

“Jesus in my mind, Jesus in my heart and Jesus in what I do everyday”

MISSION STATEMENT

St Patrick’s strives to educate the whole person by giving everyone the opportunity to participate in physical, social, academic and spiritual activities.

The staff members of St Patrick’s see their role as guiding students to be lifelong learners, mentors and active participants in school, parish and community life.

As a faith community, our school prays together, shares the sacraments, models gospel values and inspires hope in our students.

As part of the wider community, St Patrick’s participates and contributes to community led activities such as ANZAC Day, Paint the Town Read, Mitchell Show Display and Combined District Sport.

At St Patrick’s we recognise that parents are the first educators of their children. Parents work in partnership with teachers and staff to enrich the learning outcomes for their children.
